Imelda Kavanagh – Dance & Drama

 

Imelda began her training at the age of 5 at the National Performing Arts School, Dublin, in RAD ballet, tap, modern, drama, singing and musical theatre. She also attended the Mullins School of Dance for Ballroom and Latin-American and Betty-Ann Norton for drama. Growing up she appeared in many productions in all the main theatres in Dublin. Her first professional appearance was at the age of 8 at the Olympia Theatre in the Dublin run of the West End tour of Evita, starring Rebecca Storm. She studied Applied languages in Tallaght IT and Theatre Studies at Inchicore College, Dublin.

 

Professional Dance credits include Taylor’s Irish Nights - Taylors Three Rock, Rathfarnham, Taylor’s Irish Cabaret  -  Taylor’s Three Rock (Swing), Two seasons in Wilde Nights Cabaret – on board the MV Oscar Wilde (Dancer & Dance Captain), Two panto seasons at the Helix Theatre - Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty, 42nd Street - Gaiety Theatre,   Two seasons in Normandy Nights Cabaret – on board the MV Normandy,  Babes in the Wood Panto - Cork Opera House,  Eurovision for Asia - Olympia Theatre. Toured the country with Talisman Theatre Company, with Santa’s Magical Christmas and Little Red Riding Hood. Corporate work includes Cadbury’s Christmas chorus line dancers, Vegas Nights -  various venues around the country, and numerous corporate events Irish dancing under the choreography of Ciaran Keating.

Choreography includes Strictly Come Dancing Ashbourne & Dunboyne, Cinderella and Treasure Island - Kill Musical Society,  Grease, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Hairspray, High School Musical 1, 2 & 3  for Dunlaoghaire School of Music, Treasure Island, My Son Pinocchio, Honk, Aladdin and You’re a good man Charlie Brown for Willow Park School, Blackrock,  Just Dance and ‘Star’ Wars for Ballyfermot College of Further Education, Dublin. She has also choreographed High School Musical, Hairspray, Oliver and Beauty and the Beast for the Academy of performing arts Navan and has taught in numerous other stage schools over the years.

Laura Wynne - Singing & Drama 

 

Laura is no stranger to the stage and has been involved in Musical Theatre from an early age. She has performed in all the major theatres in Ireland. Laura studied "Theatre Studies" in Inchicore College and also trained in the Gaiety School of Acting. She starred as "Eva Peron" in the Irish Premier of "Evita". She also played the lead role of "Sally" in "Me and my girl" at the Gaiety Theatre. Laura starred in a Christmas pantomime which ran for three months in the Tivoli Theatre. She has since performed with the same Theatre Company five times, playing the lead on each tour. Laura has also starred as "Rizzo" in "Grease", "Maria" in "The sound of music" , "Audrey" in "Little shop of horrors" and acting roles which include William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" and "Bombshells" which ran in the Sugar Club. She was also nominated for "Best Actress in a performance" for her role as Eva Peron. She has also toured with "Normandy Nights Cabaret" to France for two seasons as lead singer and with "Wilde Nights Cabaret" for two seasons as singer and dancer.

Laura has worked with Lambert Puppet Theatre for the last eight years starring in Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin and many more... She recently appeared in “Vikings” and American television series “Into the Badlands”. She is also a member of "Bentley Boys band" and performs at weddings and festivals all over the country. Laura has over 15 years teaching experience and has taught in many Stage Schools over the years

Orla Mc Feeley – Ballet

 

Orla graduated from the Central Ballet School, London. She has performed with the English Nation Opera on several productions including Carmen Broucek and Princess Ida with Ken Russell. Orla played the White Cat principal dancer in Cats on the West End for Cameron Mackintosh. She has performed for Irish Modern Dance Theatre both in Ireland and Paris and with Cois Ceim in Dublin and touring Ireland. She has made several TV appearances both in Ireland and the UK, including working on the Gerry Ryan Show, Sandy Kelly, the Eurovision and Pebble Mill. Orla is a fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance teacher, working in Dublin and Navan. She is also skilled at aerial hoop and fire poi and performs regularly at various events and festivals around the country.
